Do you have an existing Stripe account?
Does this sound like you?
Stripe requires the person creating the new Stripe account to have significant control and management of your organization. They will need to provide personal information such as birthdate and the last four digits of their SSN or government issued ID number. Do you meet this description? If not, ask someone that does to complete the next step.
Create a new Stripe account
Have the following information handy:
- Legal Business Name
- Business Address
- Business Phone Number
- Website or social media account URL
Connect your Stripe account
Connect the Stripe account associated with the same organization as the Eventgroove account.
Is your organization a 501(c)?
Confirm nonprofit status
Confirm your 501(c) status by entering your EIN.
Is your organization a 501(c)(3)?
Contact Stripe for discounted rate, and enter new, reduced rate in Payments Processing section.
That’s it! Now you can start processing payments through Stripe.
