There are three different PayPal account types. Each of them can be used to process payments on Eventgroove Events. Below summarizes each account type to help you decide what is best for your organization.
Personal PayPal Account
You may process payments on Eventgroove Events by using your Personal Paypal account. Ticket buyers can purchase with a credit card or using their existing PayPal account. With this account type, PayPal will automatically create a PayPal account for ticket buyers who do not already have one.
PayPal Payments Standard Account
Upgrade to a PayPal Payments Pro account to ensure ticket buyers can purchase tickets without having to create a PayPal account. You will be asked for more information by PayPal to upgrade your account, but there is no additional fee, and the process typically takes less than 30 minutes. PayPal Payments Pro Account
The PayPal Payments Pro account is designed for enterprise customers that anticipate high sales volume. While the experience for ticket buyers will be exactly the same as with a standard account, there is a smaller transaction fee (varies based on volume).
