Eventgroove Events enables you (the host) to customize many aspects of your event pages. From the Event Dashboard or Event Wizard, click on Design. This will take you to the design editor where you can edit all design aspects of your event page. Learn more on how to add custom backgrounds, banners, and event images below.
Your event image will appear next to your ticket types and above the venue information. The event image is a great area to place your brand logo, pictures from your organization, or any other images of the event. When you finish creating your event page you will be able to easily update or change any of your images. It will also appear on the Eventgroove Events calendar search. The recommended size for the event image is 360 x 470 pixels, or 1.2 x 1.57″. The file types compatible with our service are JPG, PNG, and GIF. The maximum file size you can upload is 2MB.
To add an event image to your event page, simply follow these 2 steps:
- In the event page preview, click “Choose File” on the right-hand side of the page.
- Select the image from your computer, and click upload.
The event banner is a terrific way to further customize your event page. It will appear above your event information at the top of your page. Some event hosts have used the banner image to upload images of performers. Other event hosts add an event banner to increase the design of the page as a whole. The banner accepts vector images, which will allow the chosen background image to show through.
The recommended dimensions for the event banner are 1020 x 150 pixels, or 3.4 x 0.5″. The file types compatible with our service are JPG, PNG, and GIF. The maximum file size you can upload is 2MB.
To add an event banner image to your event page, simply follow these 2 steps:
- Click on “Choose File” at the top of the page where the banner will be located.
- Select the image from your computer, and then click upload.
The choice is yours! Eventgroove allows you to choose from a variety of our pre-loaded event backgrounds or to upload your own background image. Choosing your background image will set the stage for the design of your entire event page.
If you want to use one of the existing Eventgroove Event backgrounds, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select the grey button next to it. You’ll see the preview update in real-time so you can see the full effect of the images on your page.
To upload an image of your own for the background:
- Select “upload a custom background” directly below the Eventgroove Event default backgrounds.
- The screen pictured below will appear and you will be able to choose the file you would like to upload.
The recommended dimensions for your event background are 1680 x 2100 pixels, or 5.6 x 7″. The file types that are compatible with our service are JPG, PNG, and GIF. The maximum file size you can upload is 2MB.
